Karandaaz realizes that the need for harmonized definition is critical and that measuring outcomes in a consistent manner for stock taking and tracking of progress. Karandaaz commissioned the Financial Inclusion Insights (FII) survey in Pakistan. This survey has been conducted 6 times since its inception in 2013 with financial support from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF). Karandaaz now aimed to commission the seventh wave of the FII, in line with previous surveys. The work is being implemented in two streams: fieldwork and logistics are the responsibility of the Survey Firm, while all other activities ranging from questionnaire finalization to report writing are the responsibility of the Monitoring Firm (Semiotics Consultants). Under this project, a survey questionnaire, and monitoring checklists were designed. Based on the designed survey tools CAPI software was developed to collect data in the field. Currently, the data collection is being carried out by the survey firm and sample-based monitoring of approximately 1000 households is also being conducted by Semiotics Consultants. After the completion of data collection, Survey data will be analyzed and the final report will be prepared.
