Semiotics was recruited to provide following services: Management Strengthening of Livestock Wing. The objectives of the project were to assist the federal livestock wing/provincial departments in setting up their respective planning directorates and review of the operating system, management control including accounting, budgeting and internal audit procedure, preparation and delivery of suitable manpower training programme. Monitoring and Evaluation Designed and developed M&E system for Livestock Development Project, Developed monitoring indicators, identified data required to compute M&E indicators. Prepared tools/ instruments and format for data collection. and to carry out mid term review, post completion survey .Benchmark Survey. This involved a nationwide survey. The objectives of the assignment were to collect, analyze and compile the baseline information to be used for impact assessment of the project activities at later stages. The benchmark survey included situation assessment on the livestock (buffalo, cattle, sheep and goat) in selected areas under project. Post Completion Survey This survey was carried out to quantify and verify the project output, assess the immediate benefits accrued to beneficiaries and their perception about the project contribution in enhancing their income and improved practices.
