Impact Assessment Study - Assistance to Girls Primary Education Project – World Food Program (WFP)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the study was to assess the effectiveness of the role of WFP’s assistance in increasing enrolment, attendance, and improving retention and completion rates of girls in primary schools throughout the Pakistan, impact, and sustainability.

 

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES PROVIDED

Semiotics recruited and assembled/ mobilized the research team. Developed the strategy for conducting the assessment . Designed and pre-tested the research instruments. Hired and trained the field staff for data collection. Carried out  survey and interviews in selected districts of all the four provinces. Analyzed the primary and secondary data; assessed the effectiveness of the education program; evaluated progress towards the achievement of stated/ agreed goals and objectives; Prepared four provincial and one country assessment report including  recommendations for improvements.
